Creativity is the heartbeat of candi dugas collective’s spirit. From the spark of imagination to the dance of innovation, we embrace every opportunity to infuse creativity into every aspect of our work.

Of course, it’s in our artistic expression; it’s also in our planning, administration, and operations. Nurturing and making plenty of space for creativity in all that we do allows for collaboration to BE our canvas, with each stroke contributing to the masterpieces of our individual + collective vision(s).

freedom

Freedom is the cornerstone of our raison d’être for the Collective. Rooted in principles of equity + justice, we work every day for a world where every story is told in its fullness, every person  is valued, and the Black experience is centered.

With broader social impact results, and culture-bearing providing the key(s) -- we can unlock every chain. We engage + activate to drive nothing less than complete liberation.

We are helping to shape intentional futures where everyone thrives with equitable opportunities and where we all celebrate the richness of all the ways we are diverse.

wellness

Wellness surrounds and permeates every way we BE, and all that we do at candi dugas collective. Without wellness, there is no creativity or freedom.

With this ethos, we plant, till, tend, and harvest a holistic approach to individual and collective healing + growth (change, prosperity). We highly value healing, honesty, sincerity, and authenticity overall - and in every interaction.

Therefore, we constantly empower as a constant, consistent journey - nurturing senses of belonging, continuous education, and thriving community(ies). Flourishing for all then becomes probable (almost guaranteed) in this curated safer space as we all walk our unique paths of/to wellness.
