candi dugas, llc facilitated a very special weekend of self-recommitment for the ladies of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Women (Jonesboro, GA). On the serene grounds of New Ebenezer Retreat Center (Rincon, GA near Savannah) the ladies reflected on the following topics with an undercurrent of ensuring rest and relaxation in their lives: - Spiritual gifts - Spiritual warfare - Physical fitness - Financial fitness One of the greatest revelations we experienced occurred as we considered the meaning of God’s Armor covering all parts of our body, except the back. (Ephesians 6:10-18) When pondering why the back is uncovered, we understood that the reason goes beyond simply, “God has our backs.”
More deeply, it’s that when an issue is truly behind us, it cannot hurt us. |
